A guy in San Diego actually did that, he took a tank from the National Guard Armory - it was on the news. My favorite part was when he drove right THROUGH a motorhome! He tried to cross a concrete divider on the freeway and got high-centered, then a cop leaped on board and shot him through the top of the head.
