My wife and I do the same - except she views it as her making all the BIG decsions on the important stuff and all I do is the small stuff :-)

Those of us that have wifes like that are very fortunate. They say, behind every good man stands a good woman, I believe that is true. Here is a funny story that is ABSOLUTELY TRUE I WITNESSED EVERY BIT OF IT PERSONALLY. I know its gonna sound unbelievable.
I had a Partner in my firm who married a young woman accustomed to great wealth. Now we were partners in a National CPA firm so not exactly paupers, but this woman was something else. She would have what she called "ACCIDENTS" which meant she went on a buying spree. One day I was sitting in his office when she called and said, "Honey I had another Accident". He said there's no money in the checking account. She replied, and this is the GODS TRUTH, thats IMPOSSIBLE CAUSE THERE ARE CHECKS IN THE CHECKBOOK!! They ultimately divorced!! jdn

My wife and I have always had that same relationship:) Actually when you spend so much time deployed it only makes sense for the wife to run the books so to say.

She gave me a look that ended that discussion cold.

I know that look only to well.
