Is there a perception that we have been rallying strongly? I don't know if that's the case but personally I find the broad market has been exceedingly dull for a few months. In any event the Oct 2002 SPX uptrend is firmly intact and has never even really been challenged. We are still sitting right around multi-year highs so I remain a bull on that index. I am anticipating that your range will be history soon. The divergence in tech is confirmation that the rally is narrowing. Could it catch-up? Who knows. There always seem to be something holding it back. First it was the semis, then the internets, now the bios. All on very different cycles. As for when we top, well I would like at least one of my proprietary bells to ring, but they are still in their boxes.
