Ted I have no problem seeing things bad about Bush. I see quite a lot of things I don't like about him as a president. But there are also things I do like, and the balance is better than anyone else that I could have voted for.

I do think Bush does mix politics in to science, but Clinton did as well, and so do scientists. If scientific conclusions have political implications than politics and ideology will effect science and vice-versa. Science isn't certain locked in stone truths cut in to stone. Its a process of discovering and evaluating and theorizing on ever changing ideas that are often filled with uncertanty and are always subject to revision. It is also a field full with real people not perfect paragon's of objectivity.
