You can see the Soderberg interview here: comedycentral.com I don't understand where the laughs come in unless it is an uncomfortable or uneasy laughter. They certainly seem to be laughing at their own cognitive dissonance. I would think sober reflection would be called for instead. It is possible that my sense of humor is lacking on these issues. I also found the archived Hitch interview interesting toward the end regarding Khomeini's grandson's view on Iraq.
