Wayne,

There is one good oil sands site www.oilsands.cc that has quite a bit of info.

This NEB report on the oil sands is a bit of a tome but a great resource
neb-one.gc.ca

THAI is described at the Petrobank site. Look for the presentation on Whitesands. They have a step-by-step on how they push a pipe into the oil sands, burn the bitumen in place and then extract the oil. Amazing. This was developed by another research organizzation, PBG acquired THAI. Their IR says they would be open to farm-ins or licensing THAI on other oil sands leases. (They may be a competitor with OPC in this area).

PBG is still somewhat speculative on the THAI piece as they are building the pilot, but the 60%WI on 28000 acres is bankable, plus their LatAm ops are looking good as well, so not too worried. If THAI doesn;t work maybe they'll license OrCrude from OPC.
