That is precisely why I created this thread Suma. Here it's all about backing up your POV with real facts. It is not about insults. Attack the message, not the messenger. It is not, however, about opinions that have no basis in reality. If you can't back your opinion up with credible evidence, it is OFF TOPIC here. How can anyone ever have a civil debate when personal insults & personal attacks are acceptable & commonplace? How can reasonable people draw reality based POV's when you have to wade through a mountain of crap to get to real facts & civil, reality based debate? On those threads you speak of, most folks talk past each other when they aren't insulting or attacking each other. And on some of your favorite threads, any dissenting POV is banned, so all you get there is disingenuous partisan groupthink. I wish more folks would "get it".
