That is the usual Dumbya style "with us or against us" thinking. Aside from the radical Islamists who have now been unleashed after Saddam's exit, there are other groups who are against the American invasion and at the same time, disdainful of the fundamentalists.

If you cannot grasp this basic element, you will never be able to comprehend the myriad other cultural complexities of the region and of the world in general.

They? The Sunni establish a Taliban type government? I don't think so. They're more secular. The Shia are the ones that will be more likely to establish an Islamic state, probably patterned after Iran.

That's not to say that there are not outside influences like Zarqawi with their own agendas.
