Maybe they mean something more like Buy with a price target of $4.50.

Or maybe they recommend you keep buying as it climbs to $4.50 (if it does) so that they have someone to unload it on before it drops again. :)

Eric, I agree with you as $4.50 is a hurculean stretch at this point in time. I bought a small amount at 1.91 (2,500 shares)and may put some short term trading profits into future buys if stock stays at this level.

No, buy up to $4.50 is not a misprint. This investment letter frequently recommends with a ceiling well above the current price. On a percentage basis, this is one of the larger gaps, admittedly (I think the stock was a bit over $2.00 when the recommendation came out). But the recommendation is as stated: it's a buy up to $4.50 in their opinion.
