Re: The only question is will he capitulate completely like Quadaffi,

It is logically impossible to both "capitulate completely" and also to remain in power.

Phil > That statement more or less confirms Clinton's Presidential ambitions in my mind. No question who is calling the shots. No question who is in control.

Without any doubt. And so Ms Clinton has to do what she has to do. But where does all this lead? To a genocide on a billion Muslims in order to appease 5 million greedy Israelis who don't know what they want and won't be satisfied even when they get it?!

> And if I were Assad, I would be afraid. Very afraid.

I'm sure he is. But I'm also sure that Syria is stocked with every kind of weapon ready to repulse any kind of attack.

> The only question is will he capitulate completely like Quadaffi, or will he risk everything like Hussein?

He has no choice -- he has to fight to the death. The United States of Israel wants to destroy Lebanon and Syria and transform them into a collection of independent, little states which, I presume, will also be the destiny of Iraq. And, of course, Israel can then keep the Golan Heights, the parts of Lebanon which it still occupies and, without any doubt, grab some more in order to fulfil the fantasy of Greater Israel -- a dreamland stretching from the Nile to the Euphrates.
