See, that was me last year! I could drive you ass off but putting was horrible, chipping too. When I would go out to the driving range, I would skip the putting and chipping. One day an old timer was watching me and asked me if I knew the guy over at the putting green. I told him I'd seen him around but didn't really know him. The old fella told me that guy has a 1 handicap and he came to the range every day it was open. He would spend some time driving but spend the remainder of the time, an hour or more, putting and chipping. He told me, "Darlin' you can have the best drive in the world but if you can't get it in the cup, what's the point of playing". He was right. I'm getting better and better each time. I still have some off days but my score is lower because I'm taking less strokes getting the ball in the cup.
