That's why I like going out to eat.

Plus with these multicourse meals it's way cheaper to go out. By the time you bought all the ingredients, which are not things you keep around the house, and never are sold in the amounts you need, you find it's a bargain to have someone else do the work- and that's before you count the value of your labor.

I'm always looking for value.

Why not just buy some good bread or crackers, some roquefort cheese, and some pear preserves? I've seen pear preserves in a number of grocery stores. Actually they taste pretty bland to me. My grandmother made them with crushed pineapple, which really perked them up. I might prefer lime marmalade with bleu cheese, or pepper jelly.

Wegmann's just opened a store near enough to me that I can just stop in, and it really does have some nice stuff. Also, Trader Joes. Do y'all have those?
