I wonder if it's another Lebanon we've created in Iraq. So far, it seems so. Lebanon been a sad place of a killing here, a bombing there, invaded by first one country, then the next, for the last 15 years with several players jockeying for power. I hope they get it together. I've got a friend from Lebanon. He lived in the US until 9/11, commuting to Lebanon to assist with his family's RE interests and contributing dollars from his work here. Although he's a Christian, he was spooked by Homeland Security and now lives in Lebanon full time. I hope he's enjoying recent developments.
