Of course timing is important because a market can easly shift from low risk/high reward to high risk/low reward fairly quickly (e.g., I wonder if Miami condo investors know just how much new supply is coming on-line over the next 12 to 18 months)...

I can't see how any American english speaking person would want to live in downtown Miami. Now South Beach across the causeway is a different world. At least it is a bit more diversified and you feel like you are in a cosmopolitan place and not like some gringo lost in the barrio...
