Keep talking about SANM... it seems to be helping. Currently up 9.7%

Yeah, I'm finding I'm not craving coffee as much as usual this morning.

Very surprising volume. And a very surprising pop on the Wells Fargo upgrade. It's almost like Wells Fargo is actually buying it (I've been around too long to believe that one) and shorts are actually covering, which I also don't buy. I suppose there's some covering to go ahead and take profits in case the penguins show up, but even with a 10% pop, nobody's getting squeezed. There wasn't enough time below these levels for a lot of new short positions to have been taken.

I've been trying to keep a mental tally of just which analysts are actually paid attention to and the list has been empty. Maybe it just got an entry.

More ELN tankage. Must be news. Oh. One of those %&$*#(@ ambulance-chasing firms with their seemingly programmatic filing of a "class action" suit whenever a stock experiences an xx% drop cranked one out against BIIB. Geez, I wish there were a way to put some of those clowns out of business! If penny-stock P&D artists are at the bottom of the barrel, those law firms are the gunk you find under the barrel. Shareholders don't benefit materially when they prevail, and they just make a company waste money on legal costs it wouldn't have had to otherwise.

There's recourse against individuals who abuse the system and whose only role in the system is as ticks and fleas, but I'd guess none when it comes to this kind of suit. What a system!
