The Navy seems to be down quite a bit...any reason for that? Yes there is a reason. We have had a war going on for three years. The Navy has a smoke machine too. The Navy and USAF have been bragging about meeting their recruiting goals. What they haven't admitted is the goal was set too low to provide sufficient replacements to maintain congressional mandated manpower end strength figures. So, yes they are meeting their recruiting goals. And at the same time their service is getting smaller. That is pretty foggy math.
