"The left does not use "support our troops" as code -- this is purely a ploy of the right. " At the start of the Iraq operation I heard over and over again... "We support our troops but not the War" I only heard this as a left wing comment. This has disappeared from the debates mostly because of how the committed troups have represented themselves. I am pretty sure that I positioned the term properly as code speak used by both sides to bolster their respective agendas.
