You don't earn any money on Social Security ... it is not a retirement plan, it is "retirement insurance". Why do you think its called "insurance"? How much money did you earn on your health insurance? ROFLOL. Pop Quiz: Two equally healthy 30 year old men buy the same health insurance plan. Person A lives for 50 years and NEVER uses his health insurance. Person B lives for 50 years but suffers with cancer, accidents (loses a leg), a stroke, and several other problems. All else being equal, who "won" with their health plan? Bush says Person B. I say Person A.
