<<The point is that inflations often reward the wrong kinds of people: typically speculators, Pig Men, Bullies or the very lucky.>>

Indeed...the country NEEDS deflation, if only to reverse the moral rot that's been propagated since the Soylent one took over. But can the country stand it long enough to see it through? I doubt it......

Speaking of moral hazard, this stuff is the cornerstone of ANY conservative investment portfolio!<G>

biz.yahoo.com

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 3, 2005--Fitch Ratings assigns an 'A' rating to $175 million class B (2005-1) card series notes issued by the Capital One Multi-asset Execution Trust (COMET). The class B (2005-1) notes accrue interest at a fixed annual rate of 4.90% (payable monthly), and have expected principal and legal maturity dates of Feb. 17, 2015 and Dec. 15, 2017, respectively

An "A" rating for unsecured credit card receivables with a 10 year maturity (and a spread to TREAURIES of 50 bp)? Nah, I don't think so.....but it's out there and coming to a money market fund near you!<NFG>
