Well, oil really blew the roof off. As I write this (about 2:30am ET) oil is in a blue-sky breakout above $53, but that is off the high of the session so far, which was $55.20 during the day.

Index futures are flat, and the dollar has inched up to fill the upside gap, but looks pretty weak now.

SONS got killed in afterhours today after announcing an audit, but stating that earnings would meet consensus but be a little short on revenues. Down about 20% during the session.... Nonfarm Payrolls will be announced at 8:30am ET, and will be closely watched.

Market internals suggest the first move of the day will be up, but selling should predominate after that.

In the QQQQ intraday chart, note the bearish divergence in the stochastic in the latter half of today's session:

139.142.147.22
