Let's see if it happens. You know why I don't fear that? Because free people don't voluntarily choose enslavement and fundamentalist Islam in the form of theocracy is enslavement. They have to look no further than the Taleban or the mad mullahs in Iran to see what awaits them in that direction. No, I think what is clear is that you and the other liberals on this thread are the only ones who fear democracy in that region. I believe that freedom and democracy are ALWAYS good, even if those elected don't align themselves with the U.S. Free people don't spend alot of time trying to kill others, but they do spend alot of time figuring out how to improve their own lives. And that is good for the world and for America.
