Do you think GOPwinger/Gannon/Guckert is living in fear of his life? After all, he's got the presidency involved, the president's staff, the US intelligence community, has made enemies in the media, probably has some colleagues feeling a sense of betrayal, anti-gay forces and perhaps some religious zealots all of whom probably wish he'd completely disappear. How ironic is it that the rightwing attempts to miff liberals over such an issue, when all liberals would ever want is that he lead a merry and happy life, in the way he wishes and with whom he wishes and that he be honest in his reporting affiliations. I don't know whether this whole matter is odd, funny or nefarious. Although it has elements of the first two, I tend to think it's the latter.
