I've been in a friendly needling contest with one of my liberal friends today. I couldn't resist debating him on the happenings in the Middle East. His response: it's all because of the death of Arafat. Who woulda known that Arafat held the entire region in a thrall of despotism? 60 years of autocracy is suddenly crumbling, and it's because they're free of Yasser Arafat. He'll never admit Bush was right, even hypothetically. I'm really sad that he'll miss this grand moment in history because of his hatred of Bush. Derek
