Many of the purported hijackers were denied visas in Riyadh with the State Department correctly seeing these men as security risks. So the C.I.A. station in Jeddah arranged special visas, many of which were incomplete, in order to allow these men (some traveling with forged papers) to come to the U.S. for flight training. Three of the purported hijackers astonishingly enough listed their home addresses at the Pensacola Naval Air Station. Curious, don't you think?
