Here's my personal ghost story. I'm in my late teens. Staying alone in the house. Middle of the night, pitch dark, sleeping soundly like only a 19 year old can. Until I snap straight up in bed. There's someone standing at the foot of my bed, watching me. When I sit up he runs out of the room. I bolt out of bed and chase him. I find myself in the living room, eyes as big as saucers, heart pounding in my chest, standing alone in the dark. I turned on every light in the house. Check every door, every closet. Nothing. Just a dream I suppose. But it's the only dream I ever chased.
