If you take that job report as evidence that the economy is strengthening, then I would expect bonds and the dollar to both sell off. The dollar is off, but bonds have rallied.

Doesn't a stronger economy mean more inflationary pressures? (not that I'm buying it - but the jobs report would suggest it is stronger).

The dollar sell off makes sense - a stronger economy would mean larger trade and current account deficits.

Were bonds already pricing in a strong jobs report?
