Thanks Alan, Great pics. I bookmarked them.. We were in the Hana area a year ago last October for 10 days with friends... We spent our entire time there in the shadow of Haleakala. :) Riding, hiking, beach combing, etc.. visiting places like Black Beach, Seven Pools, etc.. Made only two trips to "civilization" <g> to the other side of the island, Lahaina, etc... We had all done that before and since we are all naturalists, we liked the quiet, natural side.
