Where did you get that he didn't want the transcripts released? They were out there a couple of days after he made them.

Mary, There was a reason why he didn't want to release the transcripts. Unlike Kerry's Form 180, Summers speeches are released. Once again they are at: president.harvard.edu The specific Speech is at: president.harvard.edu There is a reason why the faculty at Harvard is ready to vote No Confidence in Summers leadership. There is a reason for the furor caused by Summers remarks. There is a reason why Harvard is now in a mess. Mess is subjective, as for reasons - its mostly censorship. And as for Summers having to explain himself, those asking are not listening. John
