I was chatting with a neighbor the other day and briefly got on the topic of 9/11. I started rattling off a laundry list of facts that tie Bush and PNAC to the attacks. After about a minute or so he said, "Stop, you're scaring me.". I said something to the effect of, "Yeah, it scares me too.", and changed the subject. The pure terror people experience when presented with the facts and evidence surrounding 9/11 is very real. Those 9/11 researchers putting up web sites, and openly discussing the facts and evidence, are those who have faced that fear and found a way to get to the other side of it. As close as I can tell, being a "liberal thinker" has very little to do with being able to face reality head on. Being able to think outside the box may be part of it, but I suspect it has to do more with the kind of moral character required of those with the ability to run into a burning building to rescue a child. That might explain why one of the earliest comments on the 9/11 investigation, calling it a "half baked farce" came from a fireman. It might also explain the strategy behind luring as many firemen as possible into the buildings before they were demolished. Or even the reasoning behind commissioning the Naudet brothers, to make a propaganda film about firemen, which endorses the official story. Even among the 9/11 research community, there are many who strike me as being rather weak minded. Perhaps the acid test should be; whenever someone says, "I believe 9/11 was an inside job.", ask that person if they own a gun. IMO, 9/11 researchers should be spending a lot more time working with the NRA, and a lot less time working with Green Peace. Armies of quacking ducks do not decide history.
