Maurice--It's a lot more complicated than that. For example, warming in certain parts of the Pacific pushes the jet stream farther north, making California, Oregan, and Washington states warmer, but also causing the jet stream to head farther south near the east coast, making New York and New England colder than average. This weather pattern has prevailed for the better part of the past 20 years, and since it makes the climate here in upstate New York colder, I have little sympathy for those who think it's nice to have warmer weather.

But, to get back to Martha Stewart and her ankle braclet, this is definitely a loss for QCOM, and the stock price shows it.
