No, the point of SI for intelligent people is not to debate with ideological eunuchs or parasitic propagandists. The point is to share information with other bright individuals who happen to see a different portion of the proverbial blind men's elephant. Arguing with charlatans is hardly useful. In fact, it's not only a pisser, it's an utter waste of time. The reason I come to SI is two-fold. To educate, and to learn. Any other goal here is wasteful, disingenuous or stupid. Except when I think up a new joke. But, then, I digress......
