Well Rambi, I recall your talent now. I'm not the musician in the family, but I do get to poke around on it a bit. The Baldwin not only sounds incredible, it fits nicely in this rather huge room we have. That's a funny story about the rolling piano. I can just picture it! In fact, maybe I saw that skit in a Marx Bros episode...?

Incidentally, your spitting story reminded me of when I went to see Rent a few years ago. The two singers were up close to each other and just belting out their songs. From the second row I could see one of them just showering the other's face with saliva. I couldn't believe the concentration of the guy getting spit on. I guess that's why he's a professional!

That is so funny, Rambi--my mental picture of you playing and chasing a rolling away piano while a student is singing.

Thanks for such a nice visual image!

Is Young Chang an inferior brand of grand piano? This is a subject I know almost nothing about, except that a friend of mine just bought a Kawai baby grand, and she is really happy with the sound quality. I have no idea whether that is a good brand either, though.
