I know of at least one grower who was purchasing fruit out of county, and selling it at the local markets as organic. Took only a few months to catch him, and he was headed for deep trouble. I think this was around the time my ex split, and I lost touch with the case; she was on the FM BOD, so got the reports thru them. In my/ our case, it was/is a matter of integrity, not law. I "answer to a higher authority". Sometimes I wonder if I'm not higher, tho. Stoney Burke
