Ted, The majority esp. a slim majority do not always know what's best for a country. Or a state? I wonder how many Republicans in Olympia will claim that Gov. Christie Gregoire doesn't have a "mandate" to lead based on your standard. That's not what I said. What I said is that just because a majority believes a certain way does not make it right. As for Gregoire, she publicly has acknowledged that she does not have a mandate and is working both sides of the aisle even though the legislature has a Democratic majority. ted
