"Junk" silver coins, 1936-66.

They're on average about 1% light (we weighed them) due to some being well worn, but the price he quotes me is usually "spot on".

With GST, I guess I'm paying 8-10% over spot. Well worth it, IMO.

If you have to pay over spot for silver coins you will also get over spot when you sell them.

Ultimately I didn't pull the trigger due to high expenses and lack of liquidity. The recent pullback in oil prices would have been a good time to jump in.
