Re: And please behave yourself.

Only two tantrums and one bout of wilding. Searle, you'd be amazed. I was in a room with 50 environmental activists and we were in a workshop on seizing the media. The name Jeff Gannon was raised, and I'd say 80-90% had never heard the name of this gay prostitute and why he matters to the media story. The leader of the workshop, a nice guy to be sure, hadn't even figured out that Gannon was gay, he thought Gannon was providing stud service to the ladies! Talk about out of touch with reality. After that, one of my rants was to try to educate these slow-witted by sincere people that the best opportunity to nail the Bush's tail to a media wall of scandal was slipping through their fingers. They didn't seem to react at all.

It's hard for me to understand how all the brains seem to have ended up on the side of evil in America.

Oh, and I did get warned about "not giving a speech" when I launched into a question about dissension in the ranks over the 9/11 Truth Alliance. Meanwhile, the instructor waxed on and on and on and on about how effective Martin Luther King's non-violence movement had been..... (until he got whacked, of course.)

Anyway, the rhododendrons, azaleas, blossoming Japanese cherry trees and daffodils were out in profusion, so my eyes enjoyed the delights of traveling to a much more hospitable ecological terrain than my mountain home.
