Thanks rruff. I meant that America is very conservative
compared to the rest of the world - especially now with a full Republican govt: President, Congress, Supreme Court (most of the time)

Abortion rates are much higher in the US than in other countries like Canada, Japan, Europe, etc.

I've seen that as a fact many times.

Just like crime is much higher here - and murder - especially in states like Texas that have the death penalty.

Makes you wonder...
