Yesterday on NPR, they were talking about the high cost of robots sent to Iraq ($200,000/each). A military spoke person said once more companies see the US long-term commitment in Iraq, they will start to make the robot, so the price might go down somewhat.

How could the US gov. not become broke with some commitment like that?<g>
