Agreed... It's no different than the government selling cigarettes and booze.

I agree about gambling.

Think of it this way--what could be more American than people volunteering their money to support the state? Would that it could get all its money from volunteers.

"Lottery" could be code for "voluntary tax"... <gg>

I have no clue what your comments are supposed to mean or how you've come to the conclusion you just did, for that matter. So, you are going to have to clarify:

1) What political agenda are you referring to as 'to satisfy your political agenda'?

2) You provided several links that were the result of your search on the topic 'family planning' and I read each one. I posted excerpts from each one showing that the most salient aspect of the services were related to 'women's health'. And I commented tangendentally that I think of something else when I think of women's health, (excercise, healthy diet, et)

3) I searched on the topic and found a site/service that is an abortion clinic that refers to it self also as a family planning clinic.

4) I recognize that mose family planning clinics usually provide a wide variety of services, mostly around sex education and how to avoid getting pregnant. They offer counseling and supply every kind of aid and service from the pill to partial birth abortion.

5) As I tried to point out to you previously we are discussing whether or not the term 'Family Planning' applies as an example of modern code speak. It is in popular usage of course everyone gets the meaning of it. It is not an obscure phrase. The term however does not have an intuitive ring that is engendered by the words themselves. If it did, the term would have to do with making plans for, and/or with the family.

6) I am not attempting to redefine the term. I understand its meaning and application in our culture. You apparently are arguing about whether clinics are good or bad ... which is not the topic, or whether they should be called what they are or not, ... not the topic laz.

You started off trying to argue with me about whether abortion and/or birth control is good or bad. You never formulated a clear position and now you end up with this lame allegation about my 'political agenda', which I doubt you will clarify. Wazzup?
