5%!! I think I saw another mentioning something like 3% and I thought that was completely outrageous. 5%!! Just shoot me now, please. I'm glad to hear they haven't continued at that rate.

According to another CA poster, special assessments are allowed and no longer under the control of Prop 13 and he posted that his taxes increased by 4.5%.
