There's no law that says journalists or anybody else has to tell the truth (except when testifying in court).

Likewise bloggers.

The issue with AAPL is corporate secrets/intellectual property theft.

Personally, I don't think this is very serious, and I suspect AAPL doesn't either. Their legal moves are just token efforts for PR/image purposes only.

SOme journalists are not telling the truth, Sandi, but that doesn't blacken the whole lot...the NY Times had a big shakeup for instance...journalism is not what it once was, but it's still trying...
