If it were serious, don't you think AAPL with their $6.5 billion in the bank and zero debt wouldn't hesitate a nanosecond to rain down an army of lawyers all over these guys?

Business is business. AAPL knows this is not necessary, and probably not even desirable. These bloggers do AAPL a PR service, actually. Why would they really want to stop that? What's the downside here? How can they lose?

That's another difference between AAPL and, say, M$FT. The overinflated egos at M$FT would waste tons of money and generate nothing but bad PR by pointlessly and probably unsuccessfully going after these guys, just as a point of pride. AAPL once again demonstrates it is much more clever than to get sucked into such nonsense.

Once again, I maintain AAPL management is nothing short of brilliant. It would not be wise to underestimate their genius.

T
