Building up to put the kids upstairs.
Land not so cheap anymore.
I am building that house on an acre lot I bought for $200k..
<What do you figure per sq foot? We are rebuilding a 4b/2b vacation home that burned down in one of our Calif Fires... $175 seems to be what we are getting. It is much more reasonable once you get out of the expensive places, I guess due to cheaper labor>

If I build it for myself and get some deals from my subs I may get it for a hundred a square foot.Normally would cost about $125.00 and I would sell it for $160/170 and make a fair profit.
