the info on Tibet was for the board, as I'm sure not all here are as versed in its history as you....I heard about the railroad being built....supposed to be completed in 2006, which will certainly "open up" the region to all kinds of exploration & exploitation....

I guess we should look the other way when China kills individuals in the streets in your view. Some how I doubt you believe we should ignore the Japanese actions in cities like Nanking during WWII. A butcher is still a butcher, whether he is a Japanese or Chinese.

Tibet deserves better than dictatorial enslavement, as does Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and China.
