That's a good idea..just because we have all our credit cards and our marbles, doesn't mean someone isn't out their using our identity.

Hi Carolyn ..

re credit reports.

FYI I currently am having a running problem with Experian.

There is more than one way that information is stored in a persons file. One way is in people speak or English. The other is in data bits that are intended for transmission to other computers.

If a bank wants a credit score, they request a credit report with score.

The credit reporting agency sends the data bits to FICO which generates a score and then transmits the score back to the credit reporting agency. The agency then transmits a English credit report and a FICO score to the bank.

Both FICO and the CRA claim that they are not responsible for the score. The CRA says that they do not produce the score and FICO says they are not responsible for the data used to generate the score.

Now then .. I have some bad data bits stuck in my file. These bits are not seen on my hard copy. I ask for a paper printout so that I can dispute information on my file. They refuse to send me a hard copy of the data bits (or raw data as some like to call it). They only send me the english version.

Because the information is not in the english version of the information, I can not dispute it.

This bad data trashes out my score around 100 points.

Yes .. I'm thinking seriously about going to court ..
