DD,

I've had Flat Stanley visit me a couple of times. One time my boys and I were going on an Indian Guide camp out. One of the activities is the rifle range. Needless to say I took several interesting photos of Flat Stanleys day at the range. Of course the way the boys shot rifles the safest place was actually being the target. Kids and guns. Doesn't get any better than that. LOL.

Joe

OK DD .. I give up .. What is or Who is a Flat Stanley?

Man did I pull a Stupid Trick yesterday. I was getting ready to bone a chunk of ham for two kinds soup .. split pea and bean soup. The boner seemed really dull on the tip. Well it's really flexible so I'm holding it near the tip of the blade as I've done many times B4, and started whipping it on the steele. Well it slipped and started falling.

Now ... I've learned 'not' to try to catch a so called a falling knife in the stock market but I thought I could catch this one. I did !! Man did I catch it. As soon as it landed in my hand I noticed the blade was really very sharp .. very sharp indeed ... I don't think it needed sharpening at all.

I still don't know for sure how it got imbedded in the back of my pinkie finger but it did as I pulled it to my chest. I've got one nice slice from the knuckle to the nail.

I'm happy it and the steele missed my feet when I dropped them to the floor ... which is what I shulda done with the knife to begin with. Live and learn ... again. Today I realize it coulda been a lot worse. It coulda ended up an accidental Harry Carry.

Do you realize the pinkie bends almost every time you use your hand?

I really had not planned on cutting this ham it was the one on the cutting board I was really after. :)

PLT finally is showing signs of life.
