If I am reading my own chart correctly, (I am an ole tiner) I should pay attention to the tines (forks have tines) as viewed in the forkme chart below.

That is really not so surprising. That line is just tracking the reversal and sustained uptrend after the last medium-term correction that ended with a V-bottom in early August.

It also shows nicely the trendline break, when the current correction began.

This is really the long-term trend manifesting itself. We'll get back to that trend after this correction.
