Perhaps its the nature of the death--sounds so gruesome, a fatal viral brain disease. Not that death isn't death, but a heart attack doesn't "sound" so bad.

I'm not watching the market today but I'm tempted to buy some elan and sock it away, if it's still around 6 bucks and bases there...my hunch is that it was the combo of immune modulators that was the problem...it would be nice if they could find earlier signs. Many drugs out there cause fatal liver damage for instance in rare cases--fluconazole, lamisil, and I think serzone? They all remain on the market and flourishing. Let me know what you think of the RNAI silencing article...ALNY as you point out might also be a long term if somewhat risky hold. And I kind of like MYGN also which I asked Reid to put on the watch list. But I can't do much today and will look at this stuff tonight--hope we can "talk" on the board tonite...
