This man has been indicted for tax fraud, bribing of judges and has been the frequent target of the indipendent media. It has taken a law passed by a parliament which his coalition controls to shield him from further indictements while he is in power. As we know power corrupts and total power correupts totally... No doubt he is a great manager and also executes well on the Italian national plan. That does in no way, however, change the sad facts as described by you above, that he believes performance keeps him way over national laws and ethics. A small man by more than metric means. Taro

Imagine the prez of the USA owning a media empire. What does that matter, Al? He's pro American...............that's all these guys care about. That's why they have no problem with Musharraf of Pakistan. If you are part of the coalition of the willing they will forgive you murder. And forget the truth.......that doesn't count either. ted
