"The Wounded Warrior," a new documentary produced by X-Back Pictures, presents a strong parallel between the visions of Abraham Lincoln and George W. Bush.
According to director Yervand Kochar, grandson of communist-persecuted Armenian artist Yervand Kochar Sr., the film proves Lincoln was the first president to lay down the doctrine of spreading freedom throughout the world as a means for national defense -- "the doctrine known and revived today as the 'Bush Doctrine.' "
Will Congress Pass Medical Liability Reform?
President Bush agrees the only way to stop this crisis is for Congress to pass common-sense medical liability reform now!
Save the U.S. Healthcare System.
Click here.    By a strange twist of destiny, the filmmaker adds, Lincoln expressed his line of thinking on September 11, 1858.
Finally, the docudrama reminds that Lincoln was one of the most despised presidents, was falsely accused of stealing elections, divided and dragged the country in a war over the economy and tariffs, and was proclaimed a social tyrant who violated the Constitution and civil liberties.

"It seems Mr. Delay has something to be worried about."

Sure he does. And he knows it. Why do you think the congressional Republicans were going to modify their ethics rules to protect him? And are trying to pass legislation in Texas so they can squash any lawsuit? If they pass the legislation, it allows them to throw out any suit they deem as being driven by partisan politics. So labeling Ronnie as "partisan" is key to DeLay's defense.

Last nite, the woman who anchors 60 Minutes was at a Delay press conference on the tsunami in SE Asia. She asked him about what was going on with the indictments etc. He said to her.....how dare you; it figures, you're from CBS. The GOP congressman next to him said to her.......you are disgrace. I was stunned. How dare they talk to someone like that? They really do think they are above it all. I hope they nail Delay good!

I recognize that weather can vary dramatically within a short period of time. However, what's happening here is so bizarre......you almost have to wonder if its not directly tied into global warming.

Its nearly summer.........everything is in full bloom......many plants are nearly a month a head of schedule. The rainfull is 10-12 inches below average. And the meteorologists don't have a clue as to what's causing it. Normally, when LA gets tons of rain and the NW gets very little, its has to do with the El Niño or even La Niña effects over the Pacific Ocean. However, this year, they are not the culprits. Very strange.
